Editorial Policy
Short version: we only publish what we'd want to learn from.
Original content
All tutorials, step sequences, tips and illustrations on DrawingIdeas.net are created for this site. We do not scrape, spin, or republish other artists' work.
Accuracy
Anatomy, proportion rules, and factual claims are checked against standard references. We do not invent statistics or attribute claims to institutions without a verifiable source — if we cite research, we link it; if we can't link it, we don't cite it.
How we choose subjects
We prioritize the subjects people most often want to learn — informed by search-demand research — so the library covers what artists are actually trying to draw, not just what's easy to write about.
Updates
Tutorials are living documents — we add step images, new ideas and clearer phrasing continuously. Substantive rewrites update the page's modified date in our sitemap.
AI assistance disclosure
We use AI tools in our production pipeline for drafting and illustration, with human editorial direction, curation and review on every published page. Nothing ships unreviewed.
